Every recovery MUST start with this step....

I've been pretty absent for the past 10 days. 

I hope you will forgive me. I had an unexpected surprise on the night of May 31. 

Our little boy came almost 2 weeks early! The story is kinda fun and it all happened FAST! I'll probably put it up on the blog later. 

But baby, mama and the rest of the crew are doing well and adjusting to life as a family of five!

I've had some time to ponder over my upcoming recovery and making plans. Sometimes I get so excited that I want to start right away. 

But then I realized that I would be skipping an crucial part of any recovery: rest. 

Whether you are injured, overtraining or recently had a baby like me, recovery starts with rest. It seems simple and that's why people skip it!

Your body needs time to heal. Your mind needs a time to relax. Your soul needs a moment of clarity. 

Your challenge for this week: Take a few minutes each day to REST, breathe, meditate and express gratitude for the wonderful gift of this life. 

I promise that the time spent will help you and it will become one of the most beneficial parts of your day.
