Do your goals scare you or excite you?

Another week has flown by! Where does the time go?

Have you ever committed to something that scares you? 

The "unknown factor" can be really intimidating yet liberating! Why? Because sometimes we need to get out of our comfort zones. 

I committed to something REALLY outside of my comfort zone recently. 

I signed up for a Tough Mudder. If you aren't sure what that is, I'll tell you. 12 miles. Dirt. Mud. Obstacles. Fun.... At least they say that it's fun. 

Yes, I'm still pregnant.

Yes, I'm due in less than 4 weeks. 

No, I've never done one.

Yes, I'm terrified... and EXCITED!

Before you are really impressed, it's not until Halloween so I have plenty of time to ease back into a workout routine before plunging into this adventure. 

A few years ago, you would never have seen me do anything like that. Why?

  • I lacked confidence
  • I lacked support
  • I lacked a plan for success

When I started using those three factors in my life, HUGE goals became less scary. Scary dreams because exciting adventures. 

I get so excited when I talk about these principles. I even based my brand new Audio Series on those three steps. 

But the point that I want to share with you is that your goals are worth the effort. You have the power within you to change those scary dreams into exciting realities! 

My challenge for you this week is to pick a goal, ANY goal! Decide that this is the year when you will make it happen.

P.S. As a pregnancy update, I'm still plugging along. I'm definitely slowing down. My workouts include more breaks and modifying. But I did finish another round of Insanity Max:30 which was a huge accomplishment for me! Just 3 more weeks (give or take a few days) and we get to meet our little guy.
